Although the Gold Coast is know for it's amazing parks, filled with thrill rides and excitement, there are also many parks in the Sunshine Coast region, that the family can enjoy. The parks in the Sunshine Coast do not offer all the thrill rides, like the Gold Coast, however they can still provide the family with days full of entertaining fun.

Some of the parks that you should visit while staying in the Sunshine Coast include:

Castle at Bli Bli is a great place to explore a medieval dwelling complete with torture chamber, armor, and dancing dolls from different regions of the world. While exploring the dungeon take the time to look at the ancient fairy story display, complete with artifacts. Before leaving you should head up to the castle tower where you can a fabulous view of the countryside and cane fields below.

Aussie World is an incredible free park is a popular tourist attraction and home to some of the best dining and shopping Aussie style. There is even a neat Pub based on a comic book that is filled with lots of abstract goodies that makes it well worth a look around, it is the Ettamogah Pub. Fun for the whole family be sure to check out Aussie World on your next trip to the Outback.

If you are interested in underwater life, Underwater World Mooloolaba is the place to visit. This is an interactive underwater adventure where guest travel through underwater glass tunnels and observe some of the greatest water creatures of all times.
