Taba Egypt - A Different Type Of Beach Holiday

By Jeffrey Smith

Taba Egypt is in the located northernmost region of Egypt, on the Gulf of Aqaba, in the Red Sea. Since it is a border town with Israel, it is a weekend vacation spot for both Egyptians and Israelis.

But since going to a hotel is not all that exciting, you should drop off your stuff at your room and then plan for any of these popular things to do in Taba. While I will only name a few options, bare in mind that there is more to occupy your time than this.

The bulk of tourists coming through Taba are doing so to partake in the only casino the area has to offer. This is also associated with the Hilton and draws a huge turnout year round. The casino itself boasts 76 gaming machines and a total of 19 table games.

You will find no shortage of things to do or see in Taba Egypt. The crystal clear blue waters that surround Taba are home to some of the most spectacular marine life on the planet. Spend your morning lounging on the beach, followed by an afternoon stroll through the trendy shops and cafes.

If you are feeling a little more adventurous, you can take a short 50km trip to the Colored Canyon, with his spectacular vistas and brilliant colors. Only 15km south of Taba, you will find a beautiful Fjord. This spectacular protected bay features unforgettable scenery and gorgeous coral reefs.

Finally, the Three Corners El Wakela Resort golf course provides a challenging 18 hole, par 72 course for those who have an affinity for the game. Most avid golfer's will tell you that, in addition to a good challenge regarding hazards and shot placement, you will see some of the most picturesque scenery you have ever seen, let alone on a golf course. Taba, Egypt seems like an ideal location for a weekend excursion or perhaps a central point in a more broad traveling experience. No matter what brings you to Taba, you should stay for what it has to offer. - 31515
